Ph.D. Candidate working on biomedical devices to understand neural responses during haptic sensations.
I am a Visiting Research Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, collaborating with Prof. Giovanni Traverso on ingestible electronics and neurohaptics. Pursuing my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State under Prof. Huanyu, I am supported by prestigious fellowships including NIH T32 Predoctoral Fellowship and the Diefenderfer Fellowship. My research involves MRI-compatible neural implants, stretchable ultrasound arrays, and phase-transition hydrogels to investigate responses during haptic sensations. Additionally, I lead NeuroXR, a startup focused on neural wearables for XR technologies, and serve as an NSF INTERN at Actuated Medical, advancing the NeuralGlider platform for neural probe insertion.
